So if you want to know how to blow through $100 in one afternoon, let me introduce you to the Ventura County Fair. We went this year, as we do every year and couldn't believe how much money we spent. From parking, to admission, to mediocre food and rides, you part with your money pretty quickly here. Yet even as I type this, I'm sure we'll be back next year for more!
The girls had a great time. We checked out all of the livestock, which is always my favorite part and then had a gourmet lunch before heading to the rides.
You can't tell from this picture, but Sophie is actually on a pony ride. She had lots of fun. It only cost us $8. What a bargain.
After the pony ride we took her on a couple of kid rides. We would have gone with her, but parents have to pay to go on too. By this time we were out of cash so she went alone. She didn't really mind, she is getting so big.
While she was on the rides I took Scarlett to the petting zoo. We had a great time, but unfortunately have no pictures of it. Oh well.
Here are my two favorite gals in the whole world.
