The 24th of July

Another fantastic thing about our trip to Utah was we got to be there for the 24th of July. I've never celebrated this fabulous holiday, so it was a special treat. Once again, Cache Valley didn't disappoint. We started out with one heck of a parade that was only a block from James' house. It was complete with pioneers in all shapes and sizes, quite a few Cache Valley beauty queens, tons of candy for the kids, and even the local Wal-Mart semi truck driving down the road. Does it get any better than that? I think not.

A couple of shots of the fantastic floats and even a covered wagon complete with a pioneer Ken and Barbie.

Mason a Charlie grabbing some candy.

Here is Scarlett poised for her next dash into the middle of the street. These kids were risking life and limb, all in the name of junky candy.

This picture was taken right after James saved Scarlett from being run over by the giant Wal-Mart truck. Like I said, they were risking life and limb. It got pretty intense!

Sophie's last dash for candy. She got it!
