The dress. Need I say more? For those of you who don't know Sunnette, or how much time and effort she put into Sophie's Easter dress, let me explain. She started this dress around Christmas time but didn't get it finished until the day before yesterday. Why do you ask? You probably can't tell from the pictures but this dress is so intricate and detailed, she put many, many hours and effort into sewing every last inch of it. It turned out just beautiful. Definitely worth the wait!! Not only is there a fancy dress, but underneath a beautiful slip, and underneath that, the cutest little bloomers. Sophie was definitely the bell of the ball today. Thanks so much Grandma!! This will be something we'll keep forever.
A few extra shots of Sophie modeling. As you can see she wasn't that excited about her modeling debut. Take a look at those bloomers, they even have lace sewn on her bottom. Too fancy!!

Audrey,
How blessed you are to have such a talented mother-in-law as yours. That dress is to die for! It makes me hope that Sophie doesn't ever grow another inch so that she can be seen wearing that beautiful dress EVERY Sunday. The famous church song that everyone knows and loves, "Count your many blessing" is ringing in my head loud and clear as enjoyed your blog displaying the talents of a mother-in-laws gift. I'm sure this is an Easter you shall not soon forget!
Love,
Chris
Now that's what I call talent. I couldn't have made anything like that. Lucky Sophie to have a talented seamstress in the family. This is a keeper!!
