Poor Sophie

Last Thursday Sophie woke up feeling sick, telling me that she felt like she was going to throw up. She was hungry, so we sat down for breakfast and the throwing up began, and still hasn't stopped. The poor girl is still throwing up, along with other stomach issues so we decided to take her to the doctor. After a quick check, her doctor decided that she was starting to get dehydrated and IV fluids were necessary.

She was so brave as the nurse poked her little hand and rooted around trying to get the needle in her vein. It took probably about a minute and a half (which felt like 10 minutes) for him to get it in place. Sophie did such a great job of holding still even though she was in so much pain. Well, about 2 hours and 500ml of saline later, we were on our way. She still feels gross, but is hopefully on the mend.

Rob and I were discussing how much we take our girls health for granted. Heavenly Father has blessed us so much, and we are so grateful.

Poor thing! I didn't know she was so sick. I'm gland she's feeling better.
