Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree

So one of the neat things about living in Utah is that you can pay $10 for a tree tag and hike up in the mountains to cut down your own Christmas tree. Since this sounded like fun, James and Malinda took us up to a lake called Strawberry Reservoir to do a little hiking. Unfortunately we didn't find the perfect tree. Better luck next time. Bryce blazed a trail through the hills limping on his still healing leg. Isn't he handsome!!

James is our family mountain man. He is the most out-doorsey guy in our family and is always up for some type of adventure, in fact the morning we got to Utah he, Malinda, and my dad went elk hunting at 6:oo in the morning.

Group shot. Along for the hike also was Malinda's sister Aria, her husband and daughter, and Malinda's other sister Valerie. All in all it was lots of fun, even if we weren't completely successful in our tree hunt.
