Christmas Eve is always a big to do at Rob's parents house. The whole family gathers together for a huge meal, a re-enactment of the Navtivity and lots and lots of presents. My parents and Bryce were visiting us so they were able to see Rob, Sophie, and I in our acting debut. Rob and I played the parts of Mary and Joseph and Sophie was baby Jesus. She slept rather peacefully in her Graco "manger" while the wise men brought her gifts. Danielle and Bob sang a beautiful song for us and then it was time for presents. 
It usually gets pretty crazy when all the kids open their gifts. Sophie made out this year getting more gifts than all of her cousins combined. After presents came a yummy dessert provided by Mike (Rob's cousin's husband). He makes the same thing every year and it is always a hit. It was lots of fun to be with so much of our family this year, but we missed everyone left in Texas!!
